Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team at Igoe International Ltd. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, content creation, and digital media, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team. Previous experience in the construction industry is a bonus, but a positive, can-do attitude is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Manage & create content for various social media platforms, including regular posts, reels, short and long videos, and static content.
- Edit videos and create engaging content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Operate a camera and drone for capturing job site footage, photos, and demo videos.
- Create demo/how-to videos from scratch for product demonstrations and tutorials.
- Run basic Google/Facebook ad campaigns, with a focus on maximizing reach and engagement.
- Provide general office assistance as needed, supporting colleagues across various tasks.
- Visit job sites to capture high-quality content for marketing purposes.
- Plan, design, and distribute monthly email marketing campaigns and newsletters
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
- Proficient in Canva and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (basic knowledge).
- AI proficiency is highly desirable. Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, CapCut AI, or similar tools for content creation, copywriting, image generation, video editing, workflow automation, research, and marketing will be a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and workflow management tools, CRM (Wrike, Zoho CRM etc.)
- Ability to create, edit, and produce content for social media, including video content.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
- Experience with operating cameras, drones, and other content-capturing equipment.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and work in different environments to capture the best content.
- A personal vehicle and full clean Irish driving license are preferred, but we will consider exceptional candidates who are a perfect fit for the role.
