Business Development Executive — New Business Advanced Safety
Location: Office-based (Co. Mayo) with regular travel nationwide

The Role
This is a true new-business role. Your job is to open doors — identifying, contacting and winning new accounts across Ireland, with a particular focus on manufacturing and pharma sites.
You'll be office-based at our Mayo headquarters, working alongside our account management team, but you'll spend a meaningful part of each week on the road meeting prospects face to face. Expect one to two overnight stays per week as you cover the East and South of the country.
We'll give you the tools, the product, the support and the company car — what you bring is the drive to find new opportunities and turn them into long-term customers.
What You'll Do
- Proactively prospect and open new contacts and accounts across manufacturing, pharma and related sectors nationwide
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Arrange and run on-site meetings, surveys and presentations with EHS, procurement and operations decision-makers
- Position Advanced Safety's managed service model — not just products, but smarter, embedded safety systems
- Work closely with the account management team to hand over and grow newly won accounts
- Keep accurate records of activity, pipeline and forecasts
What We're Looking For
- A genuine "hunter" — energised by opening new accounts and comfortable with cold and warm outreach
- Proven B2B field sales experience, ideally in PPE, safety, industrial supplies, or selling into manufacturing/pharma (essential experience and background to be confirmed by you)
- Strong relationship-building and presentation skills with decision-makers
- Self-motivated and well-organised, able to plan your own week and manage time on the road
- Comfortable with travel and overnight stays as required
- Full, clean driving licence
