We are looking for friendly, reliable, and customer focused Waiting Staff to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, delivering excellent customer service, and thriving in a busy hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and beverages to tables in a professional manner
- Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues politely and professionally
- Packing takeaway and delivery orders accurately
- Ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly
- Processing payments and operating the till system
- Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the venue
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or similar hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Weekend availability is essential
- Flexibility to work evenings and public holidays when required
