Quality & Accreditation Coordinator
Auralia Hospital is seeking an experienced Quality & Accreditation Coordinator to join our team.
- Role: Full time
- Location: On-site. Auralia Hospital, Dublin 12.
- Hours of work: 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday. (8am-4pm)
This is a key role within the hospital, with approximately 60% of your time dedicated to supporting our hospital accreditation program, ensuring our policies, procedures and quality systems remain current, compliant and inspection-ready. Annually, all policies should be reviewed, updated or amended as necessary, along with carrying out of audits related to those policies.
The remaining responsibilities include stock control and ordering of non-medical consumables, together with coordinating Data Access Requests in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Accreditation (Approx. 60%)
- Draft, review and update hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain document control systems.
- Plan and carry out internal quality audits.
- Support the hospital's accreditation program and ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Monitor corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the hospital remains inspection-ready at all times.
Stock Control & Ordering (Approx. 20%)
- Manage stock levels of non-medical consumables.
- Order supplies from approved suppliers.
- Monitor inventory and maintain organised stock areas.
Data Access Requests (Approx. 20%)
- Coordinate patient Data Access Requests.
- Ensure requests are processed accurately and within statutory timeframes.
- Maintain confidential records and support GDPR compliance.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working in a Quality, Compliance or Accreditation role.
- Experience drafting, reviewing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Experience carrying out internal audits.
- Excellent written English and document preparation skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Previous healthcare experience would be advantageous, although candidates with quality and compliance experience from other regulated industries will of course be considered.
This is a full time, on-site role, at Auralia Hospital, Park West, Dublin 12.
