Supervisor – Suits Select Tralee

Suits Select is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team in Tralee. We are a specialist menswear retailer, helping customers find the perfect suits and formalwear for weddings, debs, graduations, workwear and special occasions. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, expert fitting and creating a great experience for every customer.
About the Role As a Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the management at day-to-day running of the store. You will help lead the team on the sales floor, ensure high standards of customer service and support the store in achieving its sales targets. You will be a hands-on member of the team, leading by example and helping colleagues deliver a professional and welcoming experience to every customer. You will also assist with the smooth running of busy periods, including weddings, debs and other seasonal occasions.
The role involves working closely with customers to help them choose the right suit and accessories, providing advice on styles and fittings, and ensuring customers receive excellent service from their first visit through to collection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the management with daily store operations.
- Lead by example and provide excellent customer service on the sales floor. - Help motivate and support the sales team
- Assist customers with suit selection, styling and fitting.
- Support wedding parties, appointments and fittings.
- Help manage the shop floor and ensure customers are looked after efficiently.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.
- Support stock management, deliveries, replenishment and merchandising.
- Help maintain high standards of store presentation and organisation.
- Assist with training and supporting new and existing team members.
- Handle customer queries professionally and escalate issues to management when required.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in retail, sales or a supervisory role.
- Confident, friendly and professional with customers.
- A positive team player with good leadership skills.
- Motivated by achieving sales targets
- Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
- Passionate about menswear, fashion and customer service.
- Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexible to work weekends and during busy seasonal periods.
