The F&B Team Member at Home2 Suites Dublin plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, friendly, and memorable guest experience through high-quality breakfast and bar service. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, maintaining clean and well-organized service areas, and supporting daily F&B operations in line with Hilton and Home2 Suites brand standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the opening team of the first Home2 Suites hotel in Western Europe, contributing to the launch of a modern, extended-stay brand and helping to shape the food and beverage service culture from day one.
Guest Service
- Welcome and engage guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, reflecting the Home2 Suites brand personality.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of breakfast and bar service, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, queries, and special requirements.
- Provide clear information on food and beverage offerings, service times, hotel facilities, and amenities.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery situations professionally, escalating where appropriate.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and the Hilton Honors loyalty programme where appropriate.
- Support upselling initiatives during bar service and promote special offers or promotions.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Set up, operate, and break down breakfast service in line with brand standards and food safety requirements.
- Prepare, replenish, and monitor food items to ensure quality, freshness, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Set up and operate the hotel bar during assigned hours, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol licensing laws and hotel policies.
- Process payments accurately, including cash, card, and room charges, in line with financial procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the breakfast area, bar, kitchen, storage, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and inventory rotation.
Breakfast & Public Area Support
- Ensure breakfast, bar, and public areas are clean, well-presented, and guest-ready at all times.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain equipment in line with hygiene standards.
- Monitor supplies and replenish items as required throughout service periods.
- Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly to management.
Operations & Coordination
- Communicate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to support smooth daily operations.
- Support other departments during busy periods when required.
- Assist with room service or event support if applicable.
- Follow opening and closing procedures accurately for breakfast and bar service.
Security, Health & Safety
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members at all times.
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Adhere to alcohol service regulations and responsible service practices.
- Report all accidents, incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity promptly and accurately.
- Comply with hotel policies relating to health & safety, fire safety, and security.
Teamwork & Development
- Actively participate in training, brand standards sessions, and personal development opportunities.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other departments when required.
- Take on additional duties as requested by management to support hotel operations.
