HvF is looking for a talented Videographer & Director of Photography (DOP) to join our growing creative team in Dublin.
This is a core production role within the studio, ideal for someone who is passionate about cinematography, visual storytelling, and crafting exceptional films from concept through to final delivery.
We're looking for more than someone who can simply operate a camera. We're looking for a visual storyteller, someone who has a strong creative eye, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys collaborating with talented people to create work that stands out.

Our work spans commercial campaigns, brand films, corporate storytelling, documentaries, social-first content, and large-scale event productions. Every project is different, but our focus remains the same: creating beautifully crafted content that tells meaningful stories.
You'll be working alongside Producers, Creative Directors, Editors, Motion Designers, and fellow Videographers in a collaborative studio environment where creativity, quality, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Be Doing
Production Planning & Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with Producers, Creative Directors, and clients to understand project objectives and creative direction
- Contribute ideas throughout pre-production, including shot planning, visual references, and storytelling approaches
- Help shape productions that balance creativity with practical execution
Cinematography & Production
- Lead shoots as Director of Photography across commercial, corporate, documentary, event, and branded content projects
- Capture cinematic, high-quality visuals using professional Sony camera systems
- Design and execute lighting setups for interviews, branded content, promotional campaigns, and commercial productions
- Record clean, professional audio on location
- Adapt confidently to a wide variety of shooting environments, from fast-paced live events to carefully controlled commercial productions
- Travel throughout Ireland and internationally as part of production work
Post-Production
- Edit content to a high professional standard across a variety of formats and platforms
- Craft compelling narratives through thoughtful pacing, music, and storytelling
- Colour grade projects using DaVinci Resolve to deliver polished, premium visuals
- Work closely with the wider creative team to refine edits and deliver exceptional final content
Collaboration & Quality Control
- Manage projects from production through to final delivery
- Take ownership of the creative and technical quality of assigned projects
- Collaborate closely with the wider production team while supporting junior crew where required
- Proactively solve challenges on set and in post-production, always maintaining a high creative standard
- Participate in regular reviews with the Creative Director and Studio & Partner Lead
What We're Looking For
You are someone who:
- Has at least three years' professional experience as a Videographer, Director of Photography or similar production role
- Has a strong portfolio showcasing commercial, branded, corporate, documentary, event, and social media content
- Has exceptional cinematography skills with a strong understanding of composition, lighting, movement, and visual storytelling
- Is highly proficient with Sony camera systems and professional production equipment
- Is confident recording high-quality location sound
- Is highly skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and experienced in colour grading with DaVinci Resolve
- Communicates well with clients and collaborators both on and off set
- Is organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment
- Holds a full, clean driving licence and is eligible to work in Ireland

- Adobe After Effects (advantage)
