Location: The Warehouse, Vision Ireland Retail, Unit C1, Newhall M7 Business Park, Co Kildare,
Vacancy Type: Fixed Term contract - August 31st
Working hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. 9am-2pm
Reporting to: Corporate Product Relationship Manager
Purpose of the job: Responsible for supporting the business development team by efficiently running the warehouse through receiving, storing, organising, pre-retailing and dispatching stock whilst assisting at key events & festival as required. This role ensures that products are accurately handled, safely stored, and readily available for our retail stores & pop-up events & plays a key part in maintaining inventory whilst contributing to smooth store & pop-up operations.

Key Duties:
Stock Handling & Storage
-
Receive, unload, and process incoming donations or Vintage deliveries

Check goods against delivery notes for accuracy and report discrepancies.

Pre retailing all items as per price guidelines & recommendations

Store stock safely and in the correct locations.

Rotate stock where applicable.
Order Fulfilment
-
Pick, pack, and prepare stock for stores and or corporate events & pop ups

Ensure accuracy and speed when fulfilling orders.

Support the dispatch process including labelling and wrapping goods.
Inventory Management
-
Assist with regular stock counts and inventory audits.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements using warehouse systems.

Report low stock levels or damaged goods promptly.
Collaboration & retail support

Work closely with retail teams to ensure timely stock availability.

Identifying keys styles or categories for stores, events or activations. Example: Electric Picnic: identifying festival outfits such as fringe detail items, rock t-shirts, denim shorts, cowboy hats, sunglasses etc.

Pre retailing items i.e. pricing & where necessary merchandising products by colour story, or theme

Assisting at key festivals & pop-up events as required

Capturing images or videos of items & or key styles in support of social media & marketing team

Assisting corporate visitors & or shoppers in the warehouse for purchasing items or for filming purposes
Warehouse Organisation & Safety
-
Keep warehouse areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.

Follow all health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines.

Operate warehouse equipment safely.

Requirements:

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work on your feet, in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Basic computer skills (for stock systems)

Experience in a warehouse or retail store environment
Forklift licence is preferable but not essential.
Manual Handling certification is preferable but not essential.
