What you’ll do:
- Manage and process customer bookings with accuracy and care
- Liaise daily with customers, carriers, subcontractors and overseas partners
- Organise transport and route planning to ensure cargo arrives safely and on time
- Negotiate rates and update tariffs
- Prepare and handle Bills of Lading and other key documents
- Track and monitor both LCL & FCL sea freight shipments
- Problem-solve and support customers with proactive communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless service
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in Sea Freight or Freight Forwarding (but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate)
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and self-manage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of customs clearance is an advantage but not essential
