We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter / Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at our busy cookery school. This is a hands-on role that is essential to the smooth running of our kitchens and learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping our kitchens, classrooms, and communal areas clean, while ensuring that all equipment, and materials required for each class are prepared and ready.

Tasks
- Wash and sanitise dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment throughout the day.
- Assist with setting up and clearing down teaching kitchens before and after classes.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Support chefs and instructors with general kitchen tasks as required.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning procedures.
- Clean demonstration areas, dining spaces, and communal areas.
- Maintain visitor facilities, including restrooms.
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables where required.
- Ensure floors, worktops, windows, and other surfaces are clean and well presented.
- Help maintain a welcoming environment for students, guests, and staff.
