Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Our client is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard / General Operative to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general yard and operative duties
- Stacking pallets of ingots safely and efficiently
- Sorting cables and materials as required
- Loading, moving, and preparing materials
- Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe
- Assisting with general site operations
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to complete daily tasks
- Supporting other areas of the business where needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, labouring, or general operative role would be an advantage
- Comfortable with semi-physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a yard environment
- Machinery experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Willingness to learn and progress within the business
