We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Van Driver to join our growing logistics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tyres and related products safely and efficiently throughout Dublin and surrounding counties.
- Load and unload deliveries while ensuring products are handled carefully.
- Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every delivery.
- Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, loading, and stock movement when required.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Represent Tyremaster professionally at all times.
Requirements
- Full clean Category B Irish/EU Driving Licence.
- Previous delivery driving experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Dublin road network and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move tyres safely.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Basic English communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience delivering automotive or tyre products.
- Warehouse or logistics experience.
- Familiarity with handheld delivery scanners or delivery apps.
- Manual handling certification (training can be provided).
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday.
- Overtime required sometimes.
Licence/Certification
Required: Full Category B Driving Licence
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
