We are seeking a highly experienced 360 Excavator Driver for heavy civils work. Will require to have Basic Lift/Bolt On course completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Trenching: Excavating deep drainage runs to exact invert levels using laser guidance and GPS systems.
- Structural Support: Expertly managing the installation and extraction of trench boxes and shoring systems in varying ground conditions.
- Safe Lifting Operations: Executing controlled lifts for heavy concrete pipes, manhole rings, and shared utilities with a focus on slinger-signaller communication.
- Bulk & Detail Excavation: Efficiently loading muck-away wagons while maintaining the agility to strip topsoil and dig around live services.
- Specialist Attachment Use: Swapping seamlessly between grading buckets for bedding, narrow trenching buckets, and hydraulic breakers for rock or concrete.
- Reinstatement & Backfilling: Placing and compacting materials in specified layers to ensure ground stability and site safety standards.
- Machine Maintenance: Conducting rigorous daily "walkaround" checks and ensuring the 15t rig remains in peak operational condition.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy plant.
- Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and CSCS 360 Excavator ticket.
- Manual Handling: In-date certificate (Training can be provided if necessary).
- PPE: Must have own standard PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel-toe boots).
- Skillset: Proven ability to follow complex safety instructions and work within a highly regulated, high-quality finish environment.
