Documentation Controller- 6 week initial Temporary Contract
CPL Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation within the engineering and construction sector to recruit a Documentation Coordinator/Controller to support a live project handover programme across multiple sites in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with an engineering or construction background to play a key role in the coordination and management of M&E commissioning and handover documentation. Working closely with the M&E Lead, you will take ownership of the documentation process, ensuring all project records are completed, compliant, and issued within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate M&E commissioning and handover documentation across multiple active sites

Review subcontractor submissions to ensure completeness and compliance with project requirements

Organise and maintain documentation within project management systems, including SharePoint

Liaise with subcontractors to obtain outstanding documentation and resolve any non-compliance issues

Prepare and issue documentation packs to clients within agreed deadlines

Coordinate snag list close-outs and monitor outstanding documentation items

Maintain accurate tracking reports and provide regular updates to the M&E Lead

Support environmental and quality procedures in line with company standards
Skills & Experience

Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Construction, or a related engineering discipline

Experience managing commissioning, quality, or handover documentation within construction or fit-out projects

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Excellent communication skills and confidence working with subcontractors, clients, and project teams

Proficiency in SharePoint and document management systems

Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements
