Are you an experienced and compassionate nursing professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career? We’re currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join a well-established, resident-focused nursing home in Galway.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of clinical care while supporting and mentoring a team of dedicated nurses and healthcare assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all clinical aspects of care within the nursing home
- Support the Director of Nursing in ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and best practices
- Lead, manage, and support the nursing team to ensure delivery of person-centered care
- Liaise effectively with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies
- Participate in audits, care planning, medication management, and staff development
Requirements:
- NMBI registration – Active PIN essential
- Minimum 3 years of senior nursing experience in an Irish nursing home or similar aged care setting
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and best practice standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
