ATEX / Hazardous Area Compliance
- Ensure compliant equipment selection, installation, earthing/bonding, glanding, and segregation in hazardous areas.
- Own ATEX verification, inspection regimes, and documentation required for compliant handover.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Ensure execution and recording of required electrical testing (IR, continuity, EFL, relay/RCD testing, functional checks).
- Support FAT/SAT, energisation readiness, and safe energisation plans.
- Deliver complete, compliant turnover packs (as‑builts, certificates, O&Ms, spares, asset data).
Technical Governance & Documentation
- Maintain control of electrical documentation (SLDs, layouts, schematics, cable schedules, termination diagrams).
- Ensure drawings and records are accurate, approved, and reflect installed conditions.
Cross‑Functional & Safety Leadership
- Work closely with Engineering, Automation/ITOT, Operations, EHS, and Quality to manage interfaces and prevent downtime.
- Lead electrical safety standards on site, including permits, LOTO, and safe isolation practices.
- Participate in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations; drive CAPAs to completion.
Quality System Ownership

- Provide strategic oversight, governance, and continuous improvement
- Support and coach Sub‑System Owners
- Own compliance plan actions and contribute to Quality Council reviews
- Maintain documentation and inspection readiness
Cost & Planning
- Provide electrical input to capital submissions and manage scope forecasting (materials, labour, spares).
- Support and execute minor electrical works aligned to the site upgrade programme.
Requirements
