About the Role
Zeus Packaging is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Executive to support and optimise warehouse operations by driving operational efficiency, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. This role combines hands-on operational coordination with business process analysis to improve productivity, resource utilisation, service quality, and overall operational performance. You will work closely with warehouse, procurement, logistics, supply chain, and commercial teams to analyse operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives across inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse end-to-end warehouse and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, optimise workflows, and improve overall operational performance.
Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational scorecards, and performance dashboards to support informed decision-making.
Conduct operational data analysis using ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and business intelligence tools to identify trends, forecast operational requirements, and improve business outcomes.
Design and optimise business processes using Lean principles, process mapping, value stream analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Monitor warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, inbound receiving, and dispatch performance to ensure operational excellence.
Evaluate operational risks, identify process vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen business continuity and operational resilience.
Assess warehouse capacity, operational throughput, labour utilisation, and resource efficiency to support scalable and cost-effective operations.
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, logistics, quality assurance, customer service, and commercial teams to improve cross-functional process integration.
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, ISO, BRC, company policies, and operational procedures. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer focused service delivery.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in warehouse, operations, supply chain, or business operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and recommend process improvements.
Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, operational reports, and performance dashboards. Knowledge of ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other BI tools is advantageous.
Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
