The Opportunity
Reporting to the Cost & Governance Manager within the Offshore Integrated Planning Office, you will support the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Offshore Delivery Teams.
You will play a key role in developing and implementing cost control strategies across complex, high-value offshore programmes. The role will focus on ensuring robust financial governance, delivering high-quality cost reporting, and supporting programme-level decision making. Closely supporting the cost management and reporting of our Offshore Asset Readiness Plan (OARP).
You will work collaboratively with internal delivery teams, Finance, Risk, Scheduling, Estimating and external partners to ensure consistent, accurate and timely cost management and reporting. A key aspect of this role will be the development of financial dashboards and reporting tools, in collaboration with Finance and Business Intelligence teams, to support management and regulatory reporting.
The Team
The Chief Transformation & Technology Office (CTTO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid. It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.
The Offshore Programme Management Office (PMO) coordinates offshore regulatory reporting requirements, audit/compliance, risk management, and monitoring/reporting of Offshore CapEx and OpEx delivery. It also supports performance reporting and benefits tracking aligned to strategic objectives across the offshore portfolio and key stakeholders.
The integrated planning roadmap establishes an IPO as the central governance and delivery engine for planning, cost, risk, and reporting—supported by standards, cadence (Rhythm of Business), Control Tower reporting, and OPC rollout.
About you Desirable
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline

Significant experience working on high-value and complex programmes, ideally within offshore renewable energy or infrastructure sectors

Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, financial reporting and governance processes

Experience working with financial control systems and project controls environments

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders

Professional membership (e.g. SCSI, RICS, APM, ICE) is desirable
