OTC Pharmacy Assistant – Drinagh Pharmacy, Dunmanway
Drinagh Pharmacy, Dunmanway is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused OTC Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
We are a busy, local pharmacy with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with our community. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for both our customers and our staff.
The Role
This is a full-time position, 39 hours per week, working as part of our friendly pharmacy team.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Providing excellent customer service and advice on OTC products
- Assisting customers with their healthcare and pharmacy needs
- Serving customers at the pharmacy counter and till
- Stock management, merchandising and maintaining attractive displays
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Keeping the pharmacy clean, tidy and well presented
- Working closely with the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team
- Ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for every customer
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Reliable, hardworking and organised
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Interested in health, wellbeing and pharmacy
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Experienced in an OTC pharmacy role (preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate)
Previous pharmacy or retail experience would be an advantage.
