VALIDATIONS TECHNICIAN
North Kilkenny
PURPOSE OF ROLE
This role is based predominately on one of our Customers’ Site which is a large Manufacturing Dairy plant. You will be responsible for validating washes, operational protocols and generating detailed reports that comply with regulatory standards and to the highest quality. If you have proven strong attention to detail skills and are looking to develop your career in validation, this is the role for you.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validation of operational protocols to include:
- Plant CIP (Clean-in Place) Protocols
- Interrogation of Plant Plc (Scada) systems
- Physical checking of Process
- Comparing with Protocol compliance
- Conducting chemical titration checks
- Compiling and documenting data for incorporation into Audit Reports.
- Troubleshoot problems and compile detailed audit reports on behalf of our clients.
- Work as part of a wider validation team as well as WTL engineers, sales and science experts.
- Work closely with on site operators, maintenance and managers.
- This role will include potential travel to other customer sites in Southeast region.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Full training will be provided and supported financially by the Company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3/5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing setting, preferably dairy, food & beverage industry.
- Previous experience of writing precise technical reports in a documentation-controlled environment, essential.
- High attention to detail (as demonstrated in previous roles) required.
- Previous experience working with multiple teams, essential.
- Previous experience working in a client facing role, a distinct advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
- Previous experience working to tight deadlines and an environment of change, essential.
- Strong IT Skills, with working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Company databases / software systems, essential
- Full clean driving licence with access to own car, essential
- Valid working permit/ visa, required.

Pay: €32,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
