Role Description
We are seeking a responsible and customer‑focused Ice Cream Van Driver to operate within designated areas in Dublin and Kildare, completing sales within specified timeframes. The successful candidate will represent the company professionally, maintain high service standards, and ensure safe operation of the vehicle at all times. Full training will be provided.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive an ice cream van safely and efficiently within assigned routes
- Sell ice cream products and handle customer transactions
- Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, professional manner
- Manage stock levels, cash handling, and daily operational checks
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the van
- Follow all company procedures and adhere to safety guidelines
Essential Requirements
- Fluent English
- Full clean driver’s licence
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable Experience
- Previous van‑driving experience
- Experience in customer‑facing roles
