We are currently recruiting an experienced Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator to join our team here at Hotel Doolin to cover Maternity Leave. If you are passionate about hospitality, improving your leadership skills and exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.
The Barn at Hotel Doolin offers an alternative wedding to our wedding couples, ensuring each wedding is special for each couple. Much of this comes down to our amazing staff!
The maternity cover role will be fully onsite, five days per week including weekends, and will involve:
- Wedding and event show-arounds
- Hosting wedding tastings
- Responding to enquiries
- Managing wedding details and communications with existing couples right up to their wedding day
- Handover of operational details to the Wedding & Events Manager
- Assisting with event administration and coordination
- Preparing and communicating function sheets and event details across departments
- Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Operations Manager
- Assisting with wedding operations and service on the ground where required
The ideal candidate should be:
- Well-presented, warm and engaging
- Organised with strong time management skills
- Sales-focused and confident with guests
- Detail-oriented and professional
- Comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment and working weekends
Experience in working weddings or events would obviously be an advantage, but personality, attitude and guest engagement are equally important for this role.

Salary DOE
Pay: €34,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
