The Main Responsibilities of the role include:
Operational Management: Overseeing all aspects of the store and yard, ensuring high standards of presentation and strict adherence to Quality, Health & Safety protocols. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the business.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team through consistent coaching, feedback, and support. Ensure all training requirements are met while maintaining optimal staffing levels at all times.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills with a proven ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with customers & stakeholders.
Stock Control: Managing stock control, product mix, and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure availability of seasonal agri-products.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience: 3–5 years of management experience in a large retail or agribusiness environment.
Education: An Agri Degree / Business (or equivalent) and specific certifications like IASIS (for animal remedies and crop protection).
Skills: Proficiency in IT systems (Excel, POS, Email) and excellent interpersonal communication.
Excellent organisational and communication skills required.
Be prepared to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
Desirable:
- Familiar with Intact/ Genetiq.
