The Role : To assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the Kitchen ensuring that all areas of the Kitchen are maintained to the standards required by the SÓ Hotels.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality food in accordance with company standards and recipes.
Manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, portion control, and efficient service delivery.
Supervise, train, and support Commis Chefs, Apprentices, and junior kitchen staff.
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, HACCP compliance, and health & safety.
Monitor stock levels, food storage, deliveries, and inventory to minimise waste and ensure product quality.
Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and maintaining culinary standards.
Ensure all guest dietary requirements, special requests, and service standards are met.
Liaise effectively with kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
