We are looking for experienced, friendly, hard-working and reliable full-time/part-time waitstaff to join our busy gastropub on O’Connell Street in Dublin city centre.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is confident working in a busy pub environment, enjoys providing excellent customer service and can work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Providing attentive table service throughout the customer’s visit
- Serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Checking on customers and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience
- Keeping tables clean, tidy and well presented
- Working efficiently during busy periods and managing multiple tables
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen, bar and other members of the team
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Handling customer requests professionally and resolving any service issues where possible
- Supporting the wider pub team during busy periods
- Following all company procedures relating to service, cash handling, hygiene and health & safety
What We’re Looking For
- Previous waiting experience is essential
- Experience working in a busy pub, bar or restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods
- Fluent English is essential
