The Rotunda Hospital is now accepting applications for our 2026 Transition Year Programme - a unique opportunity to gain insight into careers in Medicine, Midwifery, Nursing, and Allied Health Professions.

Programme Highlights
Successful applicants will:

Tour our Obstetric and Neonatal units, Laboratory, and Pharmacy

Attend talks by Consultants, NCHDs, Medical Students, and Allied Health Professionals
-
Work in teams and present a group project on the final day
A full course schedule will be shared with selected students before the programme begins.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
We welcome applications from:

Transition Year students currently attending school in Dublin

Students who have a connection to current Rotunda staff, including but not limited to children, siblings, nieces/nephews, cousins, neighbours, or family friends, particularly those with a genuine interest in healthcare.
