Senior Electrical Project Engineer (Water & Wastewater)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater projects involving MEICA and civil works. The successful candidate will provide technical, commercial, and project management expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical aspects of water and wastewater projects from design through delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Support project planning, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are consistently achieved.
- Prepare project updates, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior engineers and team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in water and wastewater projects or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors, project delivery, and commercial performance.
- Understanding of NEC4 contracts and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Chartered Engineer status, or working towards it, is desirable.
Pay: €55,000.00-€89,000.00 per year
