The Lake of Shadows Hotel are currently recruiting for a Night Porter to join their team.
- To always ensure a high level of security.
- Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotel including, but not restricted to lobby, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the function room floor.
- Responsible for cleaning other areas as directed by manager on duty and as per nightly checklist which may include set up of function rooms, breakfast area etc.
- Responsible for the front entrance and outside of the hotel and ensure that it is always clean and tidy. This includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish etc.
- Handling guest queries.
- To have a full understanding of the hotels’ fire procedures to always ensure safety of all staff and guests.
- Bar service in resident’s bar.
- To ensure safety for the guests in the hotel while on duty.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must have at least 3-5 years experience.
- Must have a professional and friendly approach.
- Must be available to work between 11pm and 8am, midweek & weekends.
- Must have excellent time keeping skills.
- Fluent English is required.
