The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead and develop our Day Services across multiple locations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred services in line with New Directions, HIQA Standards (where applicable), and organisational policies.
The successful candidate will drive innovation, community inclusion and continuous improvement while ensuring strong governance, safeguarding and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day management and strategic development of Day Services

Ensure delivery of person-centred, outcome-focused supports

Promote community-based, inclusive service models

Provide strong leadership and supervision to multidisciplinary staff teams

Ensure compliance with HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements

Oversee quality, risk management, audits and continuous improvement
-
Work collaboratively with families, MDT, HSE and external stakeholders

Manage staffing, resources and budgets effectively

Support innovation and service development initiatives
About You
You are a committed leader with a passion for delivering high-quality disability services and empowering those you support.
Essential Requirements

QQI Level 8 Degree in Social Care / Social Studies or equivalent
-
Recognised Management qualification
-
CORU registration (or eligibility)
-
Minimum 5+ years' relevant post-qualification experience in Healthcare related field disability services.

Minimum 3 years' management/supervisory experience
-
Strong knowledge of New Directions, safeguarding and disability sector regulations
-
Proven experience in staff management, service delivery and quality systems
-
Full clean driving licence
Desirable

Experience in Day Services or community-based supports

Knowledge of HIQA Standards
