Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life
- Implement person-centred care plans in line with HIQA standards and organisational policies
- Manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to team communication
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar care environment
- Valid CPR and Patient Moving & Handling certificates (preferred)
- Full clean driving licence (required)
- Full right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
- Garda vetting will be conducted upon application
Preferred Experience & Attributes
- Previous experience working in residential, nursing home, or hospital settings
- Previous experience supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities in a compassionate, person-centred environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Demonstrated ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
