Recruitment & Business Development Manager
Location: Ashbourne, County Meath, Ireland
Salary Scale: €55,000 - €75,000 OTE

Potential Resources is seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Recruitment & Business Development Manager to lead and develop our recruitment team while driving sustainable business growth across key sectors.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who combines strong people management with a proven ability to win business, grow client relationships, and deliver commercial results.
You will play a key role in shaping the next stage of our growth by building high-performing recruitment teams, strengthening client partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruitment consultants to achieve individual and team performance targets
- Monitor recruitment activity, KPIs, revenue performance, and service delivery standards
- Drive business development initiatives by securing new clients and expanding existing accounts
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment and sales plans aligned to business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates, and key stakeholders
- Identify new market opportunities and strengthen the company’s presence across target sectors
- Ensure excellent candidate and client experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Support recruitment, delivery, and operational activities as required
About You
You will bring:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ recruitment experience with a demonstrated record of business development success
- Previous experience leading or managing recruitment teams
- Experience within high-volume or specialist sectors such as construction, agri-food, engineering, healthcare or meat processing. Knowledge of immigration services an advantage.
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and commercial skills
- The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable business growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational capabilities
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Pay: €55,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
