Security Officer, Night Shift

Vardis Security is currently recruiting a professional Security Officer for a night shift role at a manufacturing facility in Co. Laois.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure site during night-time operations. This role includes regular patrols, access control, monitoring site activity, reporting incidents, and responding to any security or safety concerns in a professional manner.
Main Duties
- Carry out regular security patrols of the site
- Monitor access and egress
- Check doors, gates, and restricted areas
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Report any security, safety, or maintenance issues
- Respond to incidents in line with site procedures
- Liaise with site management when required
- Follow all company and client procedures
Requirements
- Valid PSA licence
- Previous security experience preferred
- Good written and spoken English
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Able to work night shifts
- Good communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative
