Busy Electrical & Security Distributors based in Ballymount, require a full time Warehouse Person/ Trade Counter Operative with good communication skills & excellent attention to detail to join our southside team with immediate start.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with warehouse experience who likes to stay active but also enjoys helping people in a customer service role.
Ideally the successful candidate will work both in the warehouse & on the trade counter building strong customer relationships & providing knowledge on a wide range of Electrical & Security Products
Some electrical knowledge or background an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated & co-operative, capable of working on their own initiative whilst being part of a team.
They must be able to receive & manage inventories.
Candidate must liaise with Purchasing & Sales to ensure a smooth process flow through purchase, delivery etc.
Load & unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner.
Move & stack materials.
Rotate floor stock.
General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area & duties as assigned.
Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation.
Use common warehouse management software.
Receive/process shipments/deliveries.
Inspect & maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear & tear
One year’s previous relevant experience in a similar role is preferable.
Forklift Licence & Manual Handling an advantage but not essential.
