About us
We're a family-owned and operated haulage business with 6 years serving customers across Ireland. We're a small, tight-knit team where drivers are known by name, not by fleet number, and we take pride in looking after our people, our trucks and our customers.
The role
We're looking for an experienced tipper driver to join us on day work, hauling aggregates, stone, sand, soil and general bulk materials to construction sites, quarries and yards. This is steady, year-round work with local and regional runs — you'll be home every night.
What you'll be doing
- Daily deliveries and collections of bulk materials to quarries, construction sites and customer premises
- Carrying out walkaround checks before and after each shift, and reporting defects promptly
- Keeping accurate records — tacho, delivery dockets, weighbridge tickets
- Working to tachograph and drivers' hours regulations
- Representing the company professionally with customers and site staff
What you'll need
- Fluent in english
- Full C (rigid) licence with a clean or near-clean record
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Valid Safe Pass card
- Previous tipper experience, ideally on construction sites and quarries
- Good understanding of load security, tipping hazards and site safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good spoken English and a courteous manner with customers
A bonus if you have it — artic licence (CE)
A full CE (artic) licence is a definite advantage and something we'd value in an application. We run [artic tippers / bulk trailers] alongside our rigids, and drivers who can turn their hand to both give us useful flexibility across the fleet — and give themselves more variety of work, more hours when they want them, and first call on artic runs as they come up. If you hold CE but haven't done much artic tipper work, we're happy to bring you on and build up your experience with us.
Other desirable experience
- Walking floor or grab loader work
- Manual Handling certification
- Basic mechanical awareness
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly, with overtime available
- Well-maintained, modern fleet of rigids and artics
- Consistent year-round work — no agency, no waiting on the phone
- Home every night
- Supportive family-run environment where your input is heard
Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
