Home and Away is now recruiting Home Healthcare Assistants -* in the Bandon area*
We are not currently in a position to assist with visa/work permit applications.
We offer Homecare to vulnerable people in their own homes. We provide assistance with Personal care, Assistance with Hygiene, Medication prompting, Mobility and Transfers, Light House hold duties including meal preparation.
More than anything, we are looking for people who are caring, reliable and interested in supporting the elderly in their own homes.
Ideal Candidate requirements:
- full clean driving license and a car
- Caring and Reliable
- Available to work 18 to 35 hours/week
- Available to work 1:2 or 1:3 weekends.
- Some experience in providing care, either to a family member/relative/friend or formal experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a Homecare/Hospital/ Nursing home setting.
- QQI Level 5 qualification in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly or be willing to achieve a qualification.
A brief note of your experience in providing care and CV if available, would be helpful.
Home & Away Care is managed by a Medical and Nursing team.
