Eplus is recruiting Community Support Workers to provide one-to-one support to children, young people and young adults, primarily those with disabilities and additional support needs, across Roscommon, Sligo, East Galway and East Mayo.

What's the Role?
This is a community-based, one-to-one support role.
You'll spend your time supporting children and young people to take part in activities, access their local community, develop social connections, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences tailored to their interests and goals.
No two days are the same.
You might be:
- Supporting a child to participate in a local sports or recreational activity.
- Accompanying a young person on a community outing.
- Helping someone build confidence in social situations.
- Supporting access to leisure, educational or community activities.
- Encouraging independence, inclusion and community participation.
Most support is provided on a one-to-one basis, allowing you to build positive relationships and make a meaningful impact.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:
- Compassionate, dependable and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable building positive relationships with children, young people and families.
- Committed to inclusion, dignity and person-centred support.
- Able to work independently and use their initiative.
Essential
- A Level 7 qualification in a relevant field or significant relevant experience supporting children, young people or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred practice.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Desirable
- Experience supporting children or young people with disabilities.
- Experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities or additional support needs.
- Experience delivering one-to-one support.
