Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are a specialist modular homes company delivering high quality, factory-built housing solutions. Our production led approach allows us to achieve efficiency, consistency and reduced build times while maintaining the highest standard of quality. As demand for our pods continue to grow we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated Quantity Surveyor.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Quantity Surveyor to manage all pricing and costings for our pods. This is a key role within the business. Our QS will be responsible for producing accurate quotations, managing price lists and ensuring cost control over our many projects.
You will work closely with our design, production and sales teams to ensure our pricing remains competitive, accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for our pods.
· Maintain and update material, labour and supplier price lists.
· Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements to produce detailed cost breakdowns.
· Monitor cost changes and advise on pricing adjustments where necessary.
· Support sales and project teams with commercial input.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
· Ensure pricing aligns with company margins and commercial strategy.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor ideally within residential, off-site construction or modular building
· Strong understanding of construction costing
· Experience producing quotes and managing pricing independently.
· Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of commercial responsibilities.
· Proficiency in relevant estimating and cost management software (preferred)
· A minimum of 5 years experience is essential in similar role.
· Previous experience in modular construction would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
