Position: Cellar Team Member
Department: The Oystercatcher / Skylark Restaurant
Reports to: Bars Manager / Restaurant Managers / Director of Food and Beverage
Key Responsibilities
- The Cellar Person is responsible for the efficient management and organisation of all wine and beverage stock within a five-star hotel environment.
- This is a full-time position, supporting the smooth operation of bar and restaurant services.
- This role involves physical work, including lifting, moving, and organising stock.
- Key duties include receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring proper storage of stock, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- The role involves stocking bars and wine cellars in preparation for service, assisting with opening checklists, cleaning and maintaining the bar area and cellars to a high standard, and carrying out regular stock control procedures.
- The Cellar Person will liaise closely with management, reporting low stock levels in a timely manner, and supporting effective stock planning.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills are essential to maintain the high standards expected in a luxury hospitality setting.

Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, ideally within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, guest-focused mindset.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining service standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the food and beverage team.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
