We are looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives to support our busy distribution operation during the early morning shift. This role plays an important part in preparing parcels for onward delivery and ensuring the smooth flow of freight through the depot.
Shift Pattern
- Early morning start, typically from 3:50am
- Usual finish time around 10:00am
- Average weekly hours approximately 25, subject to business requirements
- Additional hours may be available during periods of increased volume, including seasonal peaks
- Shift schedules may be adjusted to meet operational needs
- Attendance is recorded through the site's timekeeping system
Key Responsibilities
As part of the warehouse team, your duties may include:
- Processing incoming parcel consignments from delivery vehicles
- Organising items into designated areas according to route and destination
- Preparing freight for dispatch and supporting vehicle loading activities
- Assisting colleagues to ensure efficient movement of parcels throughout the depot
- Adhering to all health, safety, and operational procedures
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the work area
What We're Looking For
- Dependable individuals with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling parcels throughout the shift
- Punctual and capable of working early morning hours
- Strong awareness of workplace safety
- Previous logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience is an advantage, but not required
