Our client is an established supplier within the print and packaging industry, currently recruiting for a Sales Rep for their sustainability packaging division.
Role Overview
This is a key role within the business, suited to a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing new markets, building client relationships, and supporting the transition away from plastic-based packaging. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, promoting product benefits, and supporting the growth of this dedicated division from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across food, catering, retail, and hospitality sectors
- Promote sustainable product ranges including greaseproof paper and paper container solutions
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up engagement
- Maintain regular communication with key accounts to build long-term relationships
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the sustainable packaging sector
- Work closely with internal teams to support pricing, quotations, and order management
- Achieve agreed sales targets and report performance to management
- Represent the brand professionally at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events where required
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in packaging, print, FMCG, food supply, or similar industries is desirable
- Strong business development instincts and the ability to identify commercial opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously
- A genuine interest in sustainable and environmentally friendly products
- Full clean driving license required for client visits
