Role Description
This is a full-time role for a GIS Analyst, located in Bray Co. Wicklow. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for managing and analysing geospatial data, performing technical analysis, and generating maps and reports.
This role will also require the candidate to produce geometrical designs of track layouts and orientation for wind farms and solar farms, using 3D Autodesk software. The designs will consider all the mapped constraints identified though a GIS geospatial analysis, as well as the vertical and horizontal geometric requirements of the proposed tracks from a civil engineering perspective.
Day-to-day tasks include utilizing GIS and Autodesk 3D software and supporting various projects by developing and managing accurate geospatial information for use in renewable energy projects. The GIS Analyst will also collaborate with internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on renewable energy projects.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and Information Management experience.
- Proficient in Information Technology and GIS Software.
- Fluent English for verbal and written communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Salary

- For this position, there is a salary range on offer which can be negotiated based on experience.
