We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
- Lead and supervise kitchen teams during service, ensuring efficient and professional execution.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with hotel standards and recipes.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal offerings and special event menus.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving and inventory management.
- Minimise food waste and contribute to effective cost control measures.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
- Train, mentor and support junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and kitchen organisation when required.
- Step into the Head Chef's role during periods of absence.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie or in a similar leadership position.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for quality ingredients and excellent presentation.
- Experience working in a busy hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP procedures and kitchen best practices.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
