Lydon House are currently recruiting Experienced KITCHEN PORTERS to join our team at the Galway Racecourse for race week 2026. Work will commence on Monday 27th July and there are 6 and 7 day contracts available, depending on experience and availability.
Applicants must have worked for 6 - 9 months in a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen.
There are two shift patterns available
a) Early morning to early evening
b) Late morning to late evening
Successful applicants must be available for interview in the coming weeks and have availability for work from Monday 27th July to 2nd August 2026.
Meals are provided while on duty, parking is available on site and good rates of pay are offered for applicants with the required experience and availability. Additional hours working as a Kitchen Porter may also be available to successful candidates who are interested in work in the week prior to Race Week.
