As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Support and continuously improve our Preventative Maintenance Programme
- Inspect, test, calibrate and maintain plant machinery to ensure reliable operation
- Work alongside production teams, electricians and contractors on equipment installations and upgrades
- Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining maintenance records and ensuring compliance with company standards and accreditations
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and safety
- Provide support during emergency breakdowns outside normal working hours when required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance fitting role within a manufacturing environment
- Qualification in Mechanical Maintenance, Automation, Maintenance Fitting, Metal Fabrication or a related discipline (preferred)
- Proven experience in electrical fault finding
- Strong welding, fabrication and fitting skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with preventative maintenance systems
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A flexible, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Experience with robotic programming would be an advantage but is not essential
