Heat Doc Ltd is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background and experience in the renewable energy and heating industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries from the initial contact through to a successful sale. You will be expected to understand customers' requirements, provide expert advice, prepare quotations, and confidently recommend the most suitable heating and renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to new customer enquiries.
- Carry out customer consultations and assess project requirements.
- Recommend appropriate plumbing, heating and renewable energy solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
- Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Work closely with the design, installation and administration teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Keep up to date with developments in renewable technologies and industry regulations.
- Represent Heat Doc professionally and maintain our reputation for quality and customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Mechanical background with a solid understanding of plumbing, heating or renewable energy systems.
- Strong knowledge of heat pumps, heating systems and renewable technologies.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and confidently present solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working within the domestic or commercial renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of SEAI grants and energy efficiency upgrades.
- Experience using CRM or quotation management systems.
