Job Description:
Hotel Woodstock:
Are recruiting for the position of senior bar person.
Main duties:
Ensure hotel Hotel Bar is kept clean and tidy
To actively up-sell and promote products
Attend all necessary training
Adhere to all systems and procedures as outlined in the standards of procedures manual
Complete relevant daily/weekly checklists as requested by Senior Managers
Provides efficient, prompt, trouble free, and courteous service while serving
and setting tables
Accurately records, pre-checks, and picks up all food and beverage orders
Serves guests their food and beverage promptly and courteously
Sets tables as needed prior or on guest arrival
Maintains a thorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
Ensure all Stock is rotated when re-stocking
Ensure mis-en-place is correct and ready for service for each shift
Arrive punctually and smartly dressed for each shift
Report any discrepancies in cash or stock to Restaurant Manager or Supervisor
General Duties:
To attend any meetings or training sessions/courses as required by Management
To assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary
To ensure guest satisfaction
To clean and maintain the work area
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
