We are seeking a passionate and innovative Health Promotion Nurse Specialist to provide clinical leadership across our services, helping to improve health outcomes, reduce inequalities, and promote wellbeing for adults with intellectual disabilities throughout Wicklow and South Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence practice, support staff development, lead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure the people we support have access to the right healthcare, at the right time, in a way that respects their individual needs and preferences.

As Health Promotion Nurse Specialist, you will:
Lead health promotion and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation
Support preventative healthcare, screening programmes and health education
Develop accessible health information and health literacy resources
Deliver education, coaching and training to frontline teams
Lead and contribute to clinical case reviews and service improvement projects
Support staff in responding to complex healthcare needs
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers
Improve healthcare access and reduce health inequalities for the people we support
Contribute to the development of policies, pathways and clinical guidance that improve outcomes and quality of life
Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration (or eligibility to register)
Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
Experience in intellectual disability, community nursing, general nursing or related healthcare settings
Demonstrated experience in health promotion, education, quality improvement or practice development
Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
Commitment to person-centred, rights-based practice
