Implants are the centre of what Truly does. Our Galway surgery runs planned surgical lists supported by digital planning and in-house scanning, and we are hiring an experienced surgical nurse to hold that side of the clinic together, the trays, the stock, the sterile field and the patient on the day.
Single and multiple implant placements
Full-arch and immediate-load cases
Surgical extractions and bone grafting
Sinus lifts and soft-tissue procedures
Guided surgery using digitally planned stents
Setting up the sterile field and instrument trays before each list, checked against the plan
Owning implant stock end-to-end: components, surgical kits, expiry dates, reorder points
Post-operative follow-up calls and reviewing how patients healed
Keeping traceability records tight enough to survive an audit on any given day
Bringing the general nursing team along most of them want to learn surgical, and you are the
person who teaches them
You are registered with the Dental Council of Ireland
You have two or more years assisting implant or oral surgery cases
Aseptic technique is second nature, not something you look up
A long list does not rattle you, and you can read what the surgeon needs before it is asked for
Galway is open seven days: 8am to 8pm on weekdays, 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday. Surgical lists are planned, so you will know what your day holds before you walk in. Full-time is 40 hours across five 8-hour shifts on a rotation that includes some weekend cover, published in advance and shared evenly across the team.
