Role Overview
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager. This role will be based from our Dublin Office. This role would be suitable for an experienced Facilities Co-Ordinator who is ready to step up and lead contracts. Client book will include small clients initially with the opportunity to grow
Salary: €42,000 - €45,000

Role Responsibilities
- Provide strategic hands-on management of the technical components within client contracts, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices.
- Alongside the management of their own contracts, the candidate will collaborate with peers to support the technical delivery across a wider range of client accounts.
- Lead and support the ongoing development of technical services to maintain a leading position in the industry and respond to emerging trends and client needs.
- Responsible for all day-to-day management, control, co-ordination, execution of all operations under their remit and reporting directly to the General Manager.
- Take full responsibility for all quality, environmental and health & safety issues and ensure compliance with company policies and arrangements including the effective closing out of audit action plans.
- Compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Compliance with all statutory regulation.
- Ensure client satisfaction and a high quality of services are provided.
- Management of operational budgets and reporting.
- Ensure all valid contractor invoices are approved for payment within agreed terms.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts where possible.
- Identifying and implementing innovations to improve service delivery.
- Provision of technical advice and problem-solving function.
- Provide management support as required.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure that the specified standard of work is maintained and all site logs and documentation are kept up to date.
- Ensure the development and potential of all direct reports, to encourage resilience and succession planning within the organisation.
- Ensuring the availability of and if required participation in the provision of a 24 hour per day 365 days per year emergency on call service as required.
- Manage ordering and procurement compliance across all sites.
- Ensure all real-time and asset information is updated and systems employed correctly across all sites (CAFM)
Candidates must possess:
- 5 years + relevant experience in an FM Co-Ordinator role
- A Strong understanding of building services operations
- Previous experience of managing people (Desirable)
- Excellent time management and self-motivational skill set.
- A pro-active attitude.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
- Competent report writer and ability to present information in a clear, accurate and concise manner in good English
- Excellent computer literacy, in particular CAFM, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and experience of the latest IT applications
