Kinnitty Castle Hotel are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Accommodation Supervisor to join our professional and highly skilled Accommodation team. The Role:
This role involves working 5 shifts per week. It is important that applicants are available to during the week, at weekends and public holidays.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of the day to day running of the accommodation department.
- Supervise the servicing of the guest bedrooms and public areas to the highest standard expected.
- Service guest bedrooms and public areas as required during quiet periods.
- To devise departmental rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels in line with the business requirements.
- Ensure compliance in line with H&S requirements for both employees and guests.
- The role involves weekend work so flexibility is required.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must have a least 2 years previous experience in a similar role, ideally gained in a hotel environment.
- Possess strong leadership skills and organisational skills to be able to multi-skill and be a decision maker.
- Have an excellent attention to detail and possess high level of customer service.
- Must pose excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of written and spoken English.
- Prepare rooms and general areas
- Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance
- Ensure high level of cleanliness is kept at all times
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
